NEOMARKKA´S FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR 2008 UNPROFITABLE

Neomarkka´s turnover nearly reached EUR 120 million but the fourth quarter and therefore the year 2008 was unprofitable. The rapid and steep price erosion of the metals strain the operating profit over EUR 5 million, of which EUR 4 million puts strain on the fourth quarter. The operating profit of the cable business will remain slightly positive but together with the losses from investments in securities the operating loss of Neomarkka will approximately be close to EUR 2 million and the loss for the financial year 2008 will roughly be close to EUR 5 million.

The financial statements from year 2008 will be published on February 26, 2009.
